MOVED TO NEW BLOG
www.namasweat.tumblr.com This blog of mine (thecavelady) was connected to my personal blog (bohemianesthete) though it was convenient I want my dashboard to be filled with nothing but healthy food, motivational pictures, and all that. So I made a new blog! The URL is a combination of Namaste + Sweat, haha! I thought it was pretty clever. But I also made this the URL because I want to be more...
hangthesilver asked: I think that the Paleo "ideas" are sound - good food, no added sugar if you can help it. That's my takeaway from Paleo. I'm trying to do strict Paleo to help my bf lose weight, but if that wasn't the case, I'd probably follow the principles more than anything. Just good foods, low carbs and low sugar, limited dairy. Without being strict Paleo my bf would fall off the...

I no longer envy girls who are naturally skinny or...
Now that I know more about eating clean and training hard. I see the difference between someone who is just naturally thin and someone who is not only thin but is fit and healthy. I now praise fit girls because to be thin and fit, or even just simply fit, is hard work. It takes a lot of discipline and dedication. No one is given the perfect body, you have to work hard to get it

30 Day Shred: Day 4 (August 10, 2012)
Oh crap, I forgot to write this entry about my 4th day of 30DS. There are some moves I’ve been dreading as the days progress because my knees feel weird. And now my yoga mat does not prevent me from hurting my tailbone. I should probably switch to my thicker mat. Since my tailbone is bruised (at least that is what it feels like) it was harder to do the ab workouts which suck. I even tried to...
Day 57: August 11, 2012
Breakfast: Bacon Eggs Lunch: Turkey Burger with Portobello Mushrooms and Onions (wrapped in lettuce) 1 Banana Dinner: (cheated) Ate a whole bunch of sushi, ate some froyo, and then some banana muffins
I recently invested in cute pink yoga mat and I’ve been doing 30DS. Unfortunately, my tailbone hurts! I’m guessing it’s bruised? I’ve always had this issue especially when I’m doing sit-ups. I used to use a thicker mat and I never hurt myself. But now switching to an actual yoga mat, my tailbone hurts :( It makes it all the more difficult to continue 30DS or even Pop...

aynalies-deactivated20121207 asked: Can you eat greek yogurt? I know some people include that in their paleo-diet even though it's not actually paleo. but it's really high in protein and it has probiotics. anyway, sometimes when i feel like i really want ice cream or something sweet, I blend frozen berries & then mix it in well with the greek yogurt, just a little cacao powder, a couple slices of banana, and chopped...
Day 55: August 9, 2012
WOD: 30 Day Shred - Level 1 Cup(s) of Water: 9 Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs with Cherry Tomatoes and Onions Lunch: Steak (admittedly ate it with a bit of A1) Lettuce Dinner: @ Capriciossa So I guess I did have an early cheat day even if I said no exceptions… aghhhhh! But Capriciossa is my favorite restaurant and my biggest weakness. So I ate Smoked Salmon Spring Rolls, Bruschetta, and...
30 Day Shred: Day 3 (August 9, 2012)
I am so glad I did it today. I actually made it past two days! Not only did I do 30DS but I did 10 minutes of Pop Pilates so now my arms are killing me. I have to do Pilates for frequently because my neck is starting to hurt whenever I do abs in 30DS. When I always did Pilates, I was using my core more and my neck didn’t hurt… so I really need to get back into it. But now I feel good!...
I can finally say I lost 20 lbs!
Just by saying that, it seems like a lot of weight to lose. Is it just me when I feel like I can’t see much difference? I’m worried it might be some mentality thing because I’m just so used to seeing myself as chubby. Does anyone know what that’s like?
